You can either take part in recruitment rallies or attempt NDA or CDSE. Paratroopers are selected from the regular soldiers already serving in the army based on their performance.

It would be fine if you can manage both studies at once. Your B.Sc should help you in your IAS preparations as well. Add details about your locality and course you pursuing to get better answers. But usually most people begin their preparations in the 1st year itself.

The best option would be to pursue B.A. In History through IGNOU. As it is open university it won't interfere with your coaching. And B.A in History will be helpful in your IAS prep.

IAS is almost always on duty. His office timings may be different but he is always active. Suppose a riot broke out at midnight on a Holiday. He or She wouldn't take action in morning but rather immediately. It is not an easy job. The basic salary of an IAS office is between payscale of 37400 to 64000 rs. + Multiple allowance based on his age, experience and post.

Yes, you can. But try to score good in your graduation. You can start preparations by improving your GK by reading newspaper daily. Read History books. Follow news channels and developments around world. This should be enough to build a strong foundation for dedicates studies later. Join a short term programme. Look for one around your locality. Such programs are usually run in holidays. Or if you are an IPS aspirant I would suggest devoting your time to study History and General Science. And solve some sample papers. It would give you an Idea about your current level and how much work you need to do.

B.Tech in IT will not be able to help you directly in IAS preparation. But you will learn to manage your time and make study strategies. If you want to know the best option then it would be B.A in History or BA+LLB. These courses will directly help you to prepare for IAS.

You could say that. It is specialised course aimed towards the Civil Services aspirants. Its syllabus is also quite similar to the syllabus of PCS. But it is not limited to that. You can also pursue Masters after it.
