Your aim and interest is co related. You would opt for Economic hons in your bachelor's and master degree and after graduation you can start preparation for IAS and economic is one of the main subject or you can say option for IAS exam.

To become IPS you will have to secure top rank in Civil Services exam conducted by UPSC. Any graduate from recognised universty is eligible to appear for Civil Services exam. You may chose your favourite subjects in graduation and prepare well to excel in entrance exam to become an IPS officer.

Generally graduation in History or any arts or economics section enjoys benefit in IAS preparation, Since you are from commerce background and % in 12th is good as well so i recommend you to pursue Economic Hons from Du.
because later on knowledge gained during graduation will be helpful when you will prepare for IAS.
