It won't affect your interview, just do the best in your exam and score good. Interview is of less marks so if you score good in written exam, it is not going to matter.

Law will be suitable for you or you can go for BA in sociology, history, economics or law. However you can choose any course of your interest, but the above mentioned courses will help you with your preparation for civil services.

IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
To become IAS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 12th complete Graduation from a recognized university.
Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.
It is under Civil Service Exam conducted once in a Year by UPSC.To become an IAS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam.
You need focused study of subjects.You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination.Its important to have some reading habits as that will help you to keep yourself updated about the current affairs.Read lots of magazine

1) history
2) pol science
3)geoghraphy
4) philosophy
5) psychology
and then u can crack upsc exam easily

Dear Nishant. both colleges are same.almost. but current placement point of view, IPS jaipur performing well. got highest salary 7 lakhs.LPU punjab got Rs. 4 lakhs. but at LPU number of companies visits are more. therefore accordingly take decision to join.all the best.

To become an IPS officer you will have to appear for Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC. Minimum educational qualification for Civil Services Examination is graduation degree from a recognized university. You may plan your graduation degree as per your interest and work hard & excel in your academics.
