To become an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Exam.
The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc.
Academic Qualification:
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from a well known college or university.
You can pursue graduation in any stream.
Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the

For Master's at IIT, you need to appear for IIT JAM and GATE is also accepted. For abroad, you must have GRE/GMAT score and IELTS/TOEFL. Rest of the requirements will be as per the country you choose to apply. You may go for M.tech/ M.E / Mba abroad. For USA, take a look here.
