Yes, you are eligible as UPSC CSE needs only graduation to appear in its exam and it doesn't matter what the field of graduation is.

Institute of Professional Studies, Meerut offers 3 years programme, with distance/correspondence. Students must have cleared 10+2 (any stream) with 50% marks aggregate with English as a subject. Whereas Technia Institute of Advanced Studies too offers 3-year B.J. M. C. programme with same eligibility criteria. No doubt it is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University but it does not provide the facilities to the students. As per my knowledge both the colleges are not good for pursuing the course of journalism and mass communication because the help and facilities that should be provided are not the up to the mark. Hi Rohit. If we talk about IMS and IPS. Official college of DAVV university with a decent placement of 3 to 4 LPA average placement with the highest of 8 to 9 LPA. Study wise just like other government. Colleges that means study by own. Both colleges are good. Good luck!

You do get to study subjects that will help you with basic knowledge of Forests, which is asked in IFS exam. Apart from that some of our faculties themselves are from IFS cadre and can guide you in the right direction. Being a management course this will help you in dealing with day-to-day situations if you do get selected in IFS. These are the only indirect benefit you get from IIFM in your quest to be an IFS. No direct benefit in terms of quota or visibility.
