Hi, Fine arts are offered by CBSE as a subject option, however, individual schools decide on the options they wish to provide their students. Do let us know which city you are writing in from so we can check if the schools there offer fine arts as a study option in class XI and XII. Else your brother can opt for subjects as per his interests, choice and strengths in class XII since there are no subject restrictions for admission to the BFA course. Bachelor of Fine Arts or BFA is an integrative course having duration of four years. The course requires natural skills such as sketching, drawing and visualization. There are no entrance tests for admission into BFA. However, prior to getting admission in any of the institutions in BFA one needs to sit for an aptitude test and on the basis of the test the final decision for admission is made. There are several options in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree course and those are Painting, Sculpture, Illustration, Cartooning, Printing, Graphic Designing, etc. After successfully completing the BFA one can pursue a Masters degree in Fine Arts. Institutions in India offering a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree are Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai; University of Bombay, Mumbai; National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi; Kala Bhavan, Viva-Bharati, West Bengal; Andhra University: Colleges of Arts and Commerce.

There are no chapters as such. Read on to get insight into this exam. The exam of IPMAT has only two sections in it, Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability. The section of 'Quantitative Ability' is the real game changer because it carries the maximum weightage as it has further 2 sub-sections : MCQ and Short answer type questions. *The section of Maths has 60% weightage hence you need to pay the most attention to it.* HIGHER LEVEL MATHS IS COVERED IN IPMAT. Hence, clear your basics of Maths of both 11th and 12th class along with the basic Maths from 6-10th class. * For 'Verbal Ability', make your reading comprehension + vocabulary + basic English grammar strong.
