It is also good to have a Bachelors degree in mechanical or electronics engineering and there are many other concentrations in robotics. The basics of electronic components will be taught in the electronics engineering programs. Hi, you can't deny the fact that NCERT books are best. Try to solve numerical etc. from them, but according to me theory cannot be learned much from NCERT (especially physics), but you can totally rely on NCERT for chemistry.
And, when you talk about reference books, according to me, you can go for Nootan-Physics (both CBSE and ICSE) R D Sharma or R S Aggarwal (CBSE) and M. L Aggarwal (ICSE)

Hi,
You need to get 60% aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics, that too in class 12th. So, don't worry. Prepare well for class 12th.

Dear Gayathri, Go for non-medical or you can opt for Diploma courses after 10th. In my opinion better option would be to join Dual Diploma B.Tech course where you save your one year as well as pressure of entrance tests. After doing a Diploma you get direct admission in second year of B.Tech. There are many universities in India that are offering you these Dual Diploma- B.Tech courses. Some of them are also offering you scholarships based on your percentage in your previous qualification. So, I feel it is better to take admission in an Dual Diploma-B.Tech course.
