You can opt for any stream in your 10+2 if you wish to make a career in product design. An aspirant who has completed 10+2 from a recognised board of education with minimum 50% marks is eligible for the course. You will need to appear for these entrance exams to get admission in the top design colleges:
NID (National Institute of Design Exam)
AIEED (All India Entrance Examination for Design)
NEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design)

If you want to do the Diploma in computer science and it has more scope to get better placement after completion of your graduation. Otherwise, if you study +2 (MPC) after tenth later, you are eligible to do the B.Tech (CSE), By doing +2, you get more knowledge about maths and physics, & vice versa benefits. Both the courses have the pros and cons. So, you can decide based on these.
