No, you cannot get admission for PCME if you opt for basic maths in 10th.The eligibility criteria for admission to the PCME stream in class 11th is that you must have passed class 10th with standard maths. Basic maths is not considered equivalent to standard maths for the purpose of admission to the PCME stream.

Hindi-medium pupils would typically be eligible for admission if the school offers Hindi as a language of instruction for Class 11 or if classes are conducted predominantly in Hindi. It's critical to confirm the school's course offerings' medium and language of instruction.Educational Board: The educational board to which the school is connected may also affect the qualifying requirements. Different educational boards may have different admissions requirements and language requirements (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, State Boards).

I find your question incomplete. You should specify the entrance exam you are talking about. Only in that case, I will be giving you specific advice in that domain. but mostly in all the entrance exams basic mathematics is asked. Also as you have mentioned that you have opted for Science please mention the stream you opted for. If biology, then mathematics will not be your core subject but mathematics is a powerful tool applicable in physics and chemistry.
