You have following options to become a software engineer:
(a) B.Tech CS/ IT
(b) BCA-MCA,
(c) B.Sc-M.Sc CS/IT.
(d) Diploma in Computer Science from a polytechnics
(e) Computer courses
With you are subjects in 10+2 you are eligible to do any of the degree or diploma mentioned above to become a software engineer. You may work hard to do B.Tech CSE/IT from a prestigious engineering college.

Hello Prerak,
Perhaps, you should study harder for your final terms. SAT is not required for all the countries, so unless you are applying to USA. You need not give yourself additional stress, instead work harder on your schoolwork, build your profile, get to do extracurricular activities, project work, community services etc. If there is an area, you know you excel in, find out a way to showcase it to universities abroad when applying.

Those who opt for the astronomy field, should pass their plus two examination under the science stream, specially in physics and math's. For pursuing a career in theoretical or observational astronomy one may go through the science stream after plus two. Since universities offering undergraduate programme in Astronomy are rarely found, one can join for a major/ honours in Physics with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject. Thereafter, take a master's degree in Physics or Astronomy. After the successful completion of M.Sc, one can do specialization in astronomy leading to Ph. Aspirants should pursue the Science stream at the 10+2 level. A combination of Science and Mathematics can be an added advantage.
The minimum educational requirement to become an Astrobiologist is a Bachelors degree in any of the Science subjects like Space Science, Astronomy, Chemistry, Biology or other appropriate Science subject from a recognized university. Candidates can also opt for subjects like Biogeochemistry, Microbiology, Geological Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc. Aspirants also have the option of pursuing a specialized course in Astrobiology.

Hello Shubhi,
Right now, you are in class 11th so you have a long time with you in which you can prepare for any part and you can give your best. I think studying UG abroad is not a good decision because in India there are many good colleges such as IIT, NIT, VIT and BITS which are also good as compared to colleges abroad. So, I suggest you to prepare for IIT JEE exam and BITSAT and I hope you can score good marks.

Hello Abhinav,
It's good to know your dream. There are two ways of getting into merchant Navy. One as an officer and the other as sailor. Both are equally good. Since life involves some hardships, pay & allowances are extremely good. Many companies in this field have schools for training as sailor including shipping corporation of India . You will get required information from their webpage.
