Your CGPA is good. Your school should not stop you from taking science stream. Try to talk to them. If you have a good GP in science and maths then I don't think that they will stop you.

There are exams like NATA, JEE Mains paper-2 through which you can get into architecture. These papers are generally there to test you imagining and drawing skills. There are some coaching institutes as well that can help you for this.
