Hi Akshay,
The best course for you will depend on your interest and future plans. Engineering is supposedly one of the best option, but you must also check if you would be interested to pursue a career in engineering. If you have creative skills, you can choose architecture.
Some courses after class 12th PCM includes:
1. BE/ B.Tech.
2. B.Sc in physics, chemistry or mathematics.
3. BCA.
4. B.Sc IT.
5. B.Arch.
6. Defence.
7. Commercial pilot training, etc.

She can either pursue B.Sc in geology or B.Sc in earth science. This field is still in an infant stage in India, but according to experts this field will have a great scope in India in future. Geologists and earth scientists are in great demand in Australia and New Zealand. So, if she is really interested in this field, there is nothing better than becoming a geologist.

You can appear for SAT exam, then you can register on common application website and login as a student. Common application is single application to 1000 of college in USA. Now, you can choose 3 to 4 colleges. But, I would recommend you to complete your common application first.
First, you need to decide which course you want pursue, then check the availability of particular course over the college website. You also have 2nd option to join some private admission consultancy, which will tell you about step by step process.

Hello,
The selection of course depends on your interest. I think, if you want to give entrance for BE/B.Tech, then you should go for B.Sc.
