The admit card for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is usually released a few weeks before the exam date. The exact date for the release of the admit card for CLAT 2022 has not been announced yet. However, it is expected to be released in the month of June 2022, as the exam is usually conducted in the month of June or July. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of CLAT by entering their login credentials. The admit card contains important information such as the candidate's name, photograph, exam center details, exam date and time, and instructions for the exam day. It is important to carry the admit card to the exam center along with a valid photo ID proof.

However, based on the previous years' exam patterns and guidelines, it is recommended that candidates reach the exam centre at least one hour before the scheduled start time of the exam. Reaching the exam centre well in advance will give you sufficient time to complete the verification process, which includes document verification, biometric authentication, and other formalities. It is important to note that latecomers may not be allowed to enter the exam hall, and their candidature may be canceled. Candidates are also advised to carry their CLAT 2024 Admit Card, a valid photo ID proof, and other documents required by the exam conducting authority. It is important to carefully read and follow the instructions given in the admit card and exam guidelines to avoid any last-minute confusion or errors. It is recommended that candidates plan their travel to the exam centre in advance, considering the distance, traffic, and other factors that may affect their travel time. It is also advisable to visit the exam centre location beforehand to become familiar with the route and to avoid any last-minute confusion or delays.

The NLU Consortium conducts three rounds of counselling for admission to its participating National Law Universities (NLUs) through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The counselling process typically starts after the announcement of CLAT results and involves online registration, choice filling, document verification, and seat allotment. The first round of counselling involves the allocation of seats based on the CLAT merit-cum-preference, followed by the second round, which offers candidates the option to upgrade or shift to higher preferences of NLUs. The third round of counselling is the final round, where the remaining seats are allotted to candidates based on their CLAT score and availability of seats. In addition to the three rounds of counselling, the NLU Consortium may also conduct a spot counselling round to fill any vacant seats in the NLUs. The spot counselling round is typically held after the completion of the third round of counselling and allows candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the previous rounds to participate in the allocation of vacant seats.
