To participate in the Common Law Admission Test CLAT counseling process, you will need to meet the following requirements:

The Common Law Admission Test CLAT is a centralised entrance exam conducted by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) in Kochi, Kerala for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. Candidates must have a LL.B. Or equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC/SAP). The upper age limit for candidates is 30 years as on 1st July of the year of admission (35 years for SC/ST/OBC/SAP). Exam pattern for the CLAT UG exam:
The exam is 2 hours long and consists of 200 multiple choice questions. The subjects tested are: English including Comprehension (40 marks), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 marks), Mathematics (20 marks), Legal Aptitude (50 marks), and Logical Reasoning (40 marks). The exam is 2 hours long and consists of 150 multiple choice questions. The subjects tested are: Constitutional Law (50 marks), Jurisprudence (50 marks), Other law subjects such as Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Family Law, etc. (50 marks). There are many good law colleges in India that allow admission without considering the CLAT score. Some of these colleges may have their own basic entrance exam but if you have prepared for CLAT you will crack these entrance exams.
