The eligibility criteria for the CLAT 2026 exam are as follows:For CLAT UG (Undergraduate) 2026Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.Minimum Marks Requirement:General/OBC category: Minimum 45% marks in Class 12.SC/ST category: Minimum 40% marks in Class 12.Appearing Candidates: Students appearing for Class 12 in 2026 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing the qualifying exam at the time of admission.For CLAT PG (Postgraduate) 2026Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed an LL.B. degree or equivalent from a recognised university.Minimum Marks Requirement:General/OBC category: Minimum 50% marks in LL.B.SC/ST category: Minimum 45% marks in LL.B.Appearing Candidates: Final-year law students are eligible to apply but must provide proof of qualification at the time of admission.Age LimitThere is no upper age limit for either the UG or PG CLAT examination.Candidates meeting these criteria can apply for the CLAT 2026 exam.

The CLAT 2026 eligibility for UG and PG courses are as under: UG CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates appearing for CLAT UG 2026 can check the eligibility below: Candidates must secure the following minimum percentage of marks in their qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination):Forty five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categoriesForty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.Candidates who may be appearing for their qualifying examination in March/ April, 2026 are also eligible to appear for the CLAT 2026 examination.
