In my opinion, CLAT is a bit more in a higher pedestal than BLAT not that I am saying anyone of it is better than the other because both of them represent India's most reputed institutions when it comes to Law and I would suggest that you appear for both but make CLAT your priority because it's your gateway to a seat in one of the finest colleges in India. Hi Parlapalli,
For now, the tentative date is 12th May 2019. CLAT is generally conducted on second Sunday of May. The final date can be announced only after the application procedure starts, that is on 1 January 2019.

Yes, practical marks are to be added to the total. As practical+theory= 100 marks in CBSE or any equivalent board. So, 54 is your aggregate percentage. Further, for NLU's you need to be amongst top ranker. So, you have to prepare like the toppers.
Further, there are other eligibility exams for admission to other top institute for law education.

Hi Satya,
SLAT stands for Symbiosis Law Admission Test. It is conducted for Symbiosis Law colleges in Pune, Hyderabad and Noida. It consists of 150 marks, 30 marks to each section. The overall pattern is same except for the English section. All the Questions in English section will be based on reading comprehension. If you complete the written round then you will be called for the Personal interview and writing ability test. CLAT is Common Law Admission Test for all the NLU's and other private colleges. Total marks is 200. Division of marks is different depending on the section. For example, Maths will consist only of 20 marks. Overall

Yes, you can. Candidates need to have passed 12th board examination of 10+2 schools system and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
