Although entrance to elite National Law Universities (NLUs) may not be possible with a CLAT rank of 4000, it may be sufficient for admission to lower-tier NLUs or private law schools that accept CLAT scores. Admission is contingent upon meeting each NLU's cutoff, which is determined annually by elements such as test difficulty and seat availability.

A decent CLAT score is typically thought to be in the top 500–1000 to get into prestigious NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore or NALSAR Hyderabad. A ranking in the range of 1000 to 2000 is usually competitive for other mid-tier NLUs.

No, AKS University admissions are through the CUET-PG entrance exam and not through the CLAT exam. Hence, candidates applying for LLM admission at AKS University should appear for CUET-PG. A valid CUET-PG score is necessary to gain admission into the university. If a candidate has appeared for the CLAT exam and does not intend to apply for admission through CUET-PG, they can try for admission in NLIU Bhopal. LLM admissions in NLIU Bhopal are done based on CLAT score and candidates can also apply for that institution if they have appeared for the CLAT exam.

The courses in NLSIU Banglore include BA LLB (Hons), LLB, LLM, Master of Public Policy (MPP), and PhD. Admissions to BA LLB(Hons) are through CLAT scores, while LLB admissions require qualifying NLSAT LLB. For LLM programs, CLAT PG scores are considered. Admissions to MPP and PhD programs are through NLSAT exams.Students will have to complete their BA LLB programme to be eligible for the LLM programme on campus. Students who have completed any undergraduate degree may apply for the on-campus MPP programme or off-campus online and hybrid programmes offered by NLSIU's Professional and Continuing Education Department.

MNLU Mumbai CLAT cut-off varies depending on several factors, including the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the CLAT exam, and the number of seats available. For the UG programme, the general category students may expect a cutoff between 533- 538 and the ST students may expect between 30641- 30645. An estimated cutoff range for securing admission in the leading 3 NLUs will be 90+. The application window for CLAT 2025 opened on July 15, 2024, and will close on October 15, 2024. The application form can be downloaded directly from the official Consortium of National Law Universities website. It will allow the aspirants to make an application for all participating NLUs offering undergraduate and postgraduate law courses under one application form. This window of extended application duration was sufficiently prolonged to enable applicants to undergo the process successfully, prepare for the examination, and submit the application forms accurately.

Aspirants who appeared for the CLAT 2025 Exam should have a clear idea about a good CLAT score. CLAT is a very competitive exam and candidates need to score high to clear the cutoff. All those candidates who appeared for the CLAT 2025 are advised to check out the previous year's CLAT cutoff scores and get a fair idea of the trends that are being followed by the NLUs in the country.  A score above 100 is definitely considered as a good score for CLAT 2025
