According to the official website of the Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta, admission to the 5-year B.A. LL.B. course is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 level from the board recognised by the University of Calcutta. There is no mention of CLAT as a requirement for admission. However, some other law colleges affiliated to the University of Calcutta, such as the Department of Law, Hazra Campus, may require CLAT scores for admission. Therefore, it is advisable to check the eligibility criteria and admission process of each college before applying.
