No, the CLAT exam is primarily for admission to undergraduate law programs offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating institutions. These programs lead to an LLB degree, but not specifically in Education Law.

For admission to the BBA LLB programme, candidates are normally required to take the NMIMS Law Admission Test (LAT). However, if you have previously taken the CLAT 2024, you may be eligible for admission based on your CLAT score, if NMIMS recognises CLAT scores for their BBA LLB programme. It is best to examine the particular admission standards and eligibility criteria on NMIMS's official website or contact their admissions office directly to determine whether CLAT results are accepted and if any additional prerequisites must be met for admission.

Yes. CLAT is necessary for BA LLB admissions in NLUs. The national-level Common Law Admission Test (or CLAT) is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs for admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses offered by 24 participating NLUs. For LLM admission offered at NLUs in India, candidates have to appear for the CLAT exam and meet the cut-off marks criteria for admission to 22 NLUs in India. However, for admission to NLU Delhi, candidates have to appear and qualify AILET exam. Therefore, candidates need to score top ranks in CLAT PG in the range of 1-1000 to get admission in the top NLUs. LLM through CLAT PG is highly competitive, keeping in view the increasing number of candidates appearing for the exam and difficulty of the paper.

No, the CLAT exam is conducted only for admissions to five-year LLB courses and LLM courses. For admission to an LLB degree, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university/ law colleges. Candidates have to complete graduation in order to be eligible for LLB entrance examinations. Candidates can also apply for LLB entrance exams in their final year of graduation. They can appear for CLAT PG for pursuing LLM from reputed NLUs.

No, the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University does not accept CLAT scores for admission to its undergraduate programme (B.A. LL.B.). CLAT is primarily designed for admission to National Law Universities in India. The Faculty of Law, Calcutta University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to the B.A. LL.B. program. The Faculty of Law website itself does not mention CLAT scores as a requirement for admission.
