No, CLAT is only required if you have to pursue a degree in the field of law. Without CLAT you can easily get through B.Tech for NMIMS. It is important that the Candidate must have passed the SSC (Std X) examination or its equivalent, by securing 65% of aggregate marks in subjects General Sciences and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry or any other Science subject and Mathematics. And cleared the requisite engenering entrance exam for getting the admission such as JEE.
