Job scheduling is used to repeat a program at certain time intervals. For e.g. An e commerce site would like to calculate their sale every hour for Analysis purposes. So they will make a program which calculates the sale of last hour and schedule it to run every hour.

Hi Nidhi,
Cloud computing is the technology that allows any computer application or service to be delivered over a network or the Internet, with minimal or no local software or processing power required.
To make that possible, the IT resources (like computation and Storage) are made available on need basis", when extra capacity is needed it is seamlessly added.

Hi Nidhi,
No doubt cloud computing has captured huge market but it will be not be able to replace the dedicated servers entirely because servers for intelligence agencies like IB, RAW , for banks etc can not put on cloud because of the confidential information it holds .
Hence cloud computing will not be able to replace dedicated servers
