ICWA and IMA has signed an MOU and hence this confusion. CMA India will be proceeded with ICMAI only and to obtain a CMA USA certification, you need to complete the process. All details are available here so read and decide:

Dear student,
Neither CMA is easy nor CA. Since both these courses are different from each other, you can't really compare on difficulty levels.
The main advantage of CMA US is that it is accepted world wide.
