Yes, CMA is a recognized course. No, it's difficulty is not same as IPCC. It's a little bit easier.

You can apply on the basis of class 12th. If you are applying for Foundation. But, for Intermediate level you have to submit your graduation result.

Candidates registering for the exam must endure that they check the eligibility criteria. Applications that do not comply by the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
ICWAI Foundation Examination
The candidate should have cleared class 10 or equivalent exam. The same should be done from a recognised education higher secondary school board or institution
The candidate should have appeared for and cleared Class 12 examination from a recognised board or
The candidate should have cleared the National Diploma in Commerce Examination
Candidates awaiting results are also eligible

Dear, For CMA, pass three-stage-exam:
1. Foundation
2. Inter
3. FINAL
Eligibility for the foundation examination:
a) Class 12th pass from any stream. * If you are a graduate you do not need to sit in the foundation examination. Eligibility for inter examination:
A) CS / CMA / CA Pass out Foundation Examination
B) Graduation in any stream. After passing the inter exam, it is necessary to have 6 months training. After the training, you are eligible for the CMA FINAL exam. And after the Passing final you will be a CMA. *Important Dates:-
For June term:- last Date of Reg. 31st JANUARY Result Date:- 23rd AUGUST
For Dec. term:- last Date of Reg. 31

Dear,
Yes, you can. But you can be present in the Dec.2019 examination. Because for the period of June 2019 you had to be registered in the institute till 31st January. Hence you will now be present in the Institutes December 2019 exam. Register yourself for the December 2019 exam before July 31, 2019. You are directly eligible for the Intermediate Examination of ICWAI Institute. And now 'CWA' is known as 'CMA'.
