CMAT is an exam conducted by AICTE, and you should consider it giving, it has 4 sections namely Quants, Verbal, Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge. Through CMAT you may be able to get admissions to some of the top level B-schools and difficulty is lower than CAT.

The minimum eligibility criteria for MBA programme from VIT are as under:-
1. A minimum of 60% mark is required in undergraduate degree from a recognized University or Institution.
2. A Bachelor's degree should be of minimum of three years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent.
3. The candidate should have studied in regular full-time programmes.
4. The candidates appearing for final year examination in 2018, whose results will be published before August 2018, are also eligible to apply.
5. Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.

PUMBA doesn't conducts PGDM course. We have only MBA+ and MBA-Pharma Biotech as Masters Course. You are eligible for MBA+ I you have given CMAT. Admissions are conducted by DTE CAP rounds. Visit www.pumba.in for more details.

Yes, it is valid but the thing is that in which college, you want to take admission? They will see that your marks is above eligibility criteria or not.

Apart from CAT and CMAT there are other college specific exams like SNAP, NMAT, etc. You may give it a shot. Note - all exams for admission in this year are over. Try for next year.
