No, this is not a good score. It is better to prepare for other management entrance exams like MAT May-2020, NMAT IIFT MBA and MH-CET MBA, etc. for better opportunities.

The last year PUMBA CMAT cutoff was 96 percentile. Your expected CMAT percentile is between 80 to 90. You can apply there but chances are moderate.

According to your score, you will be between getting less than 50 percentile. You won't be getting good colleges in this range. You can give MAT exam to get better score and then apply accordingly.

As per the Hand Book of year 2017-19 of NIT Kurukshetrea, Only NIT Kurukshetra is accepting CAT / MAT / GMAT / CMAT score with minimum 40 percentile for MBA admissions. Please read this https://nitkkr.ac.in/docs/ADMISSION_BROCHURE_2017.pdf

Admission in IMS DHV-Indore for MBA courses are given through entrance test conducted by the University. Hence, your CMAT score is not applicable here.

CMAT 2020 exam consists of 100 questions ( 25 question in every section) of total 400 marks. Each correct answer carries 4 marks while wrong answer -1. Now, you have attempted 40 questions correctly out of 55, means 15 questions are doubtful. Hence your CMAT score can be around 145=40x4-15. So your expected CMAT percentile will remain below 50.
