As per my understanding, MBA in Human Resources is a very demanding profession and the demand is likely to increase over time. The basic reason for this is, personnel are the most important part of any organisation, therefore management of the personnel is the most important task to be focused on. A student with an MBA in HR can avail high packages by providing their services in companies. Not only nationally, but the scope of this work is also increasing globally. Those who are preparing for other MBA entrance exams such as CAT XAT or SNAP three months is enough to prepare for CMAT. But those who are aiming to appear only in CMAT exam, must begin their preparation at least three months before the exam. There are many courses available at many different platform such as coursera etc.

Hi Shreya, Almost every MBA entrance exams are similar to each other in terms of the syllabus only some differences are there. The major difference is that CAT scores are accepted across many colleges in India. In NMAT you will be having limited options in college. Because it is acceptable in some colleges. NMAT is conducted by a particular institute called Narsee Monjee for selecting MBA students for their college. NMAT has a different exam structure and syllabus from CAT with No negative marking. Thanks.
Hope it helps.
