Candidates preparing for CMI Entrance exam for the academic session 2025-2026 will be able to download the CMI entarnce exam syllabus 2025 byvisiting the official website of Chennai Mathematical Institute exam 2025. CMI has not released the CMI entarnce exam 2025 syllabus, therefore aspirants are left with the option of going through the CMI entrance exam 2025 syllabus. It is highly expected that CMI exam syllabus doesn't change year to year, so candidates are suggested to either go to the CMI exam 2024 official website and search for CMI exam syllabus there.

CMI Entrance Exam 2025 will be conducted for admsisions to the BSc, MSc and Integrated PhD progarmmes in Mathematics, Data Science and Computer Science courses. In the CMI Entrance Exam 2025 candidates aptitutde and domain knowledge will be evaluated in the form MCQ and Subjective type questions. Section B of CMI entarnce exam 2025 will have subjection type of questions where candidates need to answer the questions with all the logical reasoning. Candidates are exempted to have 2 hours of duration to answer the Section B.

Candidates preparing for CMI Entrance Exam 2025, must be aware that in order to get admissions in the Chennai Matgematical Institute one need to score good in the Section A of CMI Entrance Examination.The Section A is considered to be quligying based as one need to score atleast 24 marks in the Section A of the CMI Entarnce Examination 2025. Section A will have 10 MCQ questions of 40 marks. In order to get their Section B evaluated in the CMI Entrance Exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 24 marks in the Section A.

For all the courses available at Chennai Mathematical Institute, before appearing in the examination candidates need to check the below mentioned exam pattern for Section B:In section B, there will be 6 questions asked by the exam conducting body. The questions will be in the subjective format. Candidates need to exaplain the answers with the logical reasoning. The toatl marks awarded for the 6 questions will be 80 marks.

The CMI Entrance Exam 2025 marking scheme for part A is as follows:In section A there will be 10 questions asked by the examination conducting body. The questions will be asked in the MCQ format. Four marks will be alloted for every correct answer and 1 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer marked by the tset takers in the examination.

CMI Entrance Exam 2025 for the academic cycle 2025-2026 will be held in the third week of May 2025, tentatively. The following degrees are acceptable for application: Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of Science in mathematics, Bachelor of statistics, Bachelor of engineering, Bachelor of technology, or any bachelor's degree with mathematics as the major topic.
