CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) concluded the 2022 recruitment process with 714 placement offers. A total of 150 companies visited the institute campus during the 2022 placements. Top Recruiter is Amazon, Thomson Reuters India Pvt. Ltd. (Average salary offered was Rs 3.52 LPA). The highest salary offered was Rs 8 LPA and Total number of offers made were 115 ). Food provided by mess is very delicious. There is variety of food available to students and no meal will be repeated in a week. Separate food is prepared for South and North side students. This mess has many food items such as coffee, tea, samosas, milk, sandwich, etc. Outside my college there are also many stalls on which I students can eat their breakfast this stalls include boiled egg, milk, coffee, tea, etc. The students of this college can eat breakfast before 9:00am or they get a short interval of time 11:00am to 11:15am.

The students should ensure to have good grades throughout the graduation. The focus should be more on projects than grades, because the employers are more interested on the projects and practical skills of the students than the grades. So, ensure to have good grades while focus more on the projects and practical skills. Most of the topics which one studies may not be required for the job perspective but the skills learnt will pay well in jobs as industry mostly focuses on the skill than the theory part.

The Government of Karnataka conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) through the Karnataka Examination Authority. This entrance exam is a gateway to obtain an engineering seat through the Government quota. The CET conducts examination in four subjects namely Physics Chemistry Biology and Mathematics. Candidates who wish to seek admission in engineering courses appear for the Physics Chemistry and Mathematics exams. Based on the CET ranking obtained, candidates are offered a choice of colleges/universities at the time of CET counselling. CMRU can be chosen at the time of CET counselling.

Admissions are open to all UG and PG courses for the academic year 2023-24. Candidates can register on the official website of the school. If a student fails in an internal exams then they have to give supplementary exams which are conducted right just after your end seems exams, in which you can get maximum C only. If a student fails in internal exams in engineering, they may have to retake the exam or take grade additional courses to make up for the failed exam. In the CGPA system, grades are allotted for a specific bracket of marks. For instance, 90-95 marks bracket is allotted to grade A. On the basis of the grade points, the total aggregate is calculated. This means that all your grades are combined together and then they are divided by the total subjects that you undertook in that semester Engineering students can also convert CGPA to percentage, CPI to percentage and CGPA to marks to get clarity. CGPA = Sum of total GPA in all Semesters/Total Number of Credit Hours.

If someone missed their internal assessment they need to give a valid reason of his/her absence. Faculty conducts a makeup exam to evaluate the missing components and will be evaluated with little reduction in weightage. Suppose you miss a component of 20 percent then during makeup exam it would be considered as 15 percent and you would lose 5 percent weightage as penalty. Nothing to worry about that, if someone misses the internals then we can request the subject teacher or HOD with the Valid reason also.

The average CTC of INR 3.52 LPA was offered at CMR university Placements 2021. In the year 2021-2022 the placements were increased compared to previous years data but year 2022-23 saw the placements decrease by 60%. The highest placement package is 25 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Infosys. Approximately 90% of the students are placed in CMRIT, and the average package is around INR 6.5-7 lacs per annum.
