You will in case have to do class 12. Either you choose ISC or let the coaching centre decide / suggest it for you. Because for almost all officer jobs 12th is the minimum requirement. You may opt to prepare for competition along with class 11&12 and in that case coaching centre is a good option. But choose the 12th board wisely so that you score good in 12th and become eligible for competing.

PGT Is Post Graduate Teacher designation and requires a Post Graduation plus Eligibility Test Qualified. CTET shall be needed to be a PGT and B.Ed shall also be a need.

You just need to concentrate on your studies. You have to study at least 10 to 12 hours a day, if you want to score 90 plus. Well it not easy, but believe me you can do it. You can divide this 10 hours. You should choose the best time, when you can concentrate.

Dropping a year for preparation of competitive exams has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for competitive exams. It is a good option but why are you not doing B Tech. If you decide to do BTech after Diploma you will require another two years to be a graduate.
