As per the latest information, in the 2023 India Today rankings, COER University was ranked #177 among the Engineering colleges in India. Earlier in 2022, the university was ranked #183 under the same category. Upon comparing both years data, it was observed that the university showed improvement in 2023 in terms of ranking.

To be eligible for admission to the BSc programme at COER University the aspiring candidates need to have passed class 12 with PCM/PCB/CBZ from a recognized board or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. 

COER University offers merit-based admission to BTech. Candidates are required to have score of exam of JEE Main, as it accepts the score of JEE Main for admission to the BTech programme. After filling out the eligibility criteria candidates are required to apply on the official website of the university. If the candidates are shortlisted on merit they are required to pay the admission fee to lock their final seats.

COER University offers Merit-based admission to BTech. To be eligible for admission to BTech, candidates must have Class 10 and Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 45% from a recognised board.
