CIT Coimbatore seat reservation is not available on the web as of now. However, the institute does provide relaxation in minimum aggregate to the SC/ST candidates. For general category candidates, the minimum mark requires in Class 12 is 75%. Moreover, the Coimbatore Institute of Technology may follow the seat reservation rules as prescribed by the state or central government.

There are a total of 240 seats for integrated BSc-MSc programmes of CIT Coimbatore. The seat intake is 60 for each of the course specialisation. The institute allot seats for the integrated courses based on applicants performance in the entrance exam, technical interview, and academic record. The seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

CIT Coimbatore accept applications via online mode. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for integrated MSc course can visit the official website to apply. The aspirants can click on the application link to enter the details and submit application. All the details in the form should be filled out as per the official documents. CIT Coimbatore admit candidates to the integrated BSc+MSc course as per the predefined selection procedure. Candidates seeking admission need to take the entrance test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted students are called for the technical interview round. Further, based on applicants academic record and performance in selection rounds, the final selection is done. After selection, the admission can be confirmed on payment of the first semester fee.

CIT Coimbatore released an official notification to declare the date and time of joining for selected candidates. As per the official notice, selected candidates could report from Jun 24 to Jun 27, 2024 from 9:30 am onwards. Students had to bring all the original certificates along with attested copies and DD of INR 78,400 as the first semester fee. The candidates can download the CIT bunch from the official website as well.

Yes, admission to the Coimbatore Institute of Technology is entrance-based. The institute admit candidates based on performance in the CIT entrance test. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements need to take the entrance exam conducted by the institute for BSc-MSc course admission. There may not be any other provision for admission. Students shortlisted based on exam become eligible for the interview round and final admission.
