CIT, Coimbatore Institute of Technology has about 70% placement rate as of 2023. Top recruiting companies like Thorogood, Mr Cooper, Oracle, Jivox, Mia, Accolite, ABCO, KLA Tencor, Striim, etc., visit the campus for placements. The highest package of ECE in CIT, Coimbatore is 14 LPA. The average package was about 6 LPA. So students have a lot of scope to be placed in high paying companies.

CIT Coimbatore offers a full-time MTech course. The duration of the course is two years divided into four semesters. Available across five specialisations, CIT Coimbatore MTech admission is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in the CEETA PG exam conducted by DOTE Chennai.
