Yes, if you want to take admission in PU then it is mandatory but if you want to take admission in private colleges, then mostly you can get admission by just filling an admission form.

Thus, to be able to gain admission into an undergraduate programme in Mumbai, interested candidate have to sit for Common entrance test –CET and Central Universities entrance test-CUET to apply for BA in Psychology.
