No, its not compulsory . As some of the college / universities give admission on  merit basis only while others conduct entrance exam  to give some relaxation in fees. This totally depends on the state where you want to pursue B.Ed.

NMIMS CET application form was available from December 2024 to May 2025. The exam will be conducted in 2 schedules from January to May end. The counselling process starts in April for phase 1 and in June for phase 2 The admission process ends in August.

INI CET July 2024 exam was held on May 19 at designated test centres across the country in computer-based mode. According to INI CET exam pattern, the test paper had 200 multiple choice questions and candidates were given 3 hours to answer them. Candidates have to register and submit application form for INI CET session. The application process comprises basic and final registration. Those who complete the basic registration can proceed for the final registration. AIIMS releases INI CET admit card to candidates who apply successfully for the exam.
