The admission process of College of Engineering, Anna University is:The candidates firstly have to give the entrance exam which is called Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Exam (TNEA). After that you have to apply for the state counselling.Based on the merit list the seat will be allotted to the candidates.

As of 27th August 2023, the online counselling and the rank list for CEG, Anna University are out. One needs to pass the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) test to apply for the university and its courses such as (B.Tech, B.E).The M.B.A and M.C.A couselling is currently going on. Do check the official website for the updates about the admissions.

No, you can't get admission in CEG, Anna University directly. Admission of a candidate into CEG, Anna University The TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) test will be held at Anna University. Candidates can use this to apply for admission to a range of UG engineering programs, including degree programs leading to the B.E./B.Tech. There is an annual state-level admissions procedure.
