For Anna University admission candidates must have studied mathematics, physics and chemistry. The candidate should have passed in all the subjects and scored a minimum average of 50% in mathematics, physics and chemistry put together.

In College of Engineering, Guindy admission are based on 12th percentage. Minimum eligibility to apply is 50%. Mandatory Subjects are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. Candidates must have obtained required percentage in mandatory subjects. Candidates who have cleared any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) along with the mandatory subjects with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to MBC/DNC/SCA minimum average percentage in PCM is 40%.

Well, according to my knowledge, the college is easy even for NRI. This college surely must be irrespective of caste. You may take admission there however you might have to face difficulties regarding conversating with other out there while living in Guindy.
