Pune have many engineering branches and the institute is having great infrastructure and study environment, if I tell specifically about the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, it is well-equipped and have spacious laboratories and highly qualified faculty. The B.E Electronics and Telecommunication course aims to teach students the fundamental skills required to satisfy the needs of a growing economy incorporated with applied engineering aspects. Its obvious core has better placements for C's than MIT wpu. Although MIT wpu claims to have an average B.Tech placement of 6.5lac/annum, the figures are debatable. Coep has an average placement of 4 Lac per annum. MIT wpu has the highest package of 24lac per annum for the year 2018, whereas for coep their highest package is greater than 30lac or 40lac per annum.

As far as placements and education are concerned, from my point of view a NIT is far better than a reputed state government college. Its my personal suggestion (as I'm from VNIT), that the environment and facilities at VNIT are too good.

Group, Godrej and Boyce, Hindalco, Honeywell, IBM, Indian Oil, Infosys, ITC, L T Finance, Reliance, Energy ScanCorner, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Symantec, Syntel, Tata Elxsi, TCS, Wipro, Yahoo and ZS Associates.

Hello students,
College of Engineering Pune is one of the known colleges of Maharashtra. It's has a very good faculty, facilities are excellent and exposure to the industry is also good. Those who take admission in this college from lateral admission are offered extra coaching. These students hence get assimilated with rest of the batch very quickly.
