Selection is based on the Merit.CET will be generally conducted during the month of April/May of every year. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to different categories viz., General Merit, SC/ST, Category I, II, III & IV, and Political Sufferers, Defence, Sports, NCC and Physically Handicapped. Selection through Diploma quota and G.O.I quota are made by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore.The student should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC /12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.Applying for the admission to the University is very easy for the candidates.Best Of Luck.

Applications are required every semester.Fee Concession for SC/ST Students- For students with family incomes above Rs. 1,00,000 per annum, sanctioned by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore. Tuition Fee Refund - For students (other than SC/ST) from families with an income of Rs. 11,000 or less per annum, sanctioned by the District Backward Class & Minorities Department. Applications are accepted in December. Scholarships for Children of Ex-Servicemen - Sanctioned by the Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Department.Merit Scholarships - Provided by the Director of Collegiate Education Department, Bangalore.Scholarships for Physically Handicapped Students - Sanctioned by the Women and Children Welfare Department.State-Specific Government Scholarships - Scholarships from the governments of Andaman-Nicobar, North Eastern Council Secretariat (Shillong), Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland, available only for Government of India quota students.Defence Scholarships - For children of defense personnel, sanctioned by the Department of Collegiate Education, Bangalore. Applications are accepted in December.Navalgund Sirsangi Trust Scholarships- For students belonging to the Lingayat community.For SC/ST, BCM students, and students from other eligible income groups, it is mandatory to apply on time with complete documentation, including caste, income, and academic marks. Admission to Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering for the B.E./B.Tech course would be possible without Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. Admission under the Management Quota is possible. Students desirous of joining the General Category need to qualify the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET =Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test, an entrance exam held in the State for admissions into Professional Courses.For those candidates who have not written EAMCET or are looking for a safety net, direct admission through the management quota is an easy route out. Again, this depends on seat availability and specific eligibility criteria defined by an institution.
