Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering admission to BE course is entrance-based. The college considers KCET or COMEDK score for admission to BE programme. Besides, aspirants must also complete PUC/Class 12 exam pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the subjects - Chemistry /Biotechnology/Biology with a minimum of 45% aggregate to apply for BE programme. 95% of seats are filled by Government of Karnataka via KEA in aided and 50% in unaided courses.

No, College of Engineering Guindy is not hard to get for hardworking students. All a student has to do is to prepare for the accepted entrance exams prior to the actual exam date. The accepted entrance exams are TANCET, GATE, and others. Students applying through GATE must prepare as per the GATE books.
