The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech course at BCET (Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology) are primarily based on the candidate's performance in relevant entrance exams. For Karnataka state candidates, admission is primarily through the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) score. For candidates from outside Karnataka, the COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test) score is commonly accepted. After obtaining a valid score in one of these entrance exams, candidates must participate in the centralized counseling process. During counseling, seats are allocated based on the candidate's rank, entrance exam score, and availability of seats in the desired branch. For candidates from Andhra Pradesh, admission is generally through the EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) score, which is conducted by the state government. The college also considers the candidate's 10+2 marks, with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the optional subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science being the core subjects. After the entrance exam, candidates must participate in the counseling process conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), where seats are allocated based on the entrance exam scores, rank, and availability of seats. For candidates applying under the management quota, the selection may be based on alternative entrance exam scores or the college's own screening process. The eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech admission at Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology typically require candidates to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or Biotechnology. KJ College of Engineering & Management Research is staffed by a highly qualified teaching faculty, which consists of 120 teachers, 96 of whom have a PhD or an M.Tech. The teaching staff is also well qualified with an average experience of 10 years, and among the 59 members 24 have teaching experience of more than 15 years. The college has a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:15, keeping in mind that students need individual attention and direction. Further, 12 members have been awarded for their excellence in teaching and research and 20 members have published their research papers in reputed journals. An average of faculty members is having 10 years of teaching experience and out of total faculty 24 are having more than 15 years of experience. The college has a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:15, so that they can receive more individual care and attention. Also, twelve faculty members have won awards for the best teachers/researchers, and twenty members have published articles in peer-reviewed scholarly publications. This faculty team of the college is passionate about offering quality education as well as counseling to the student.

The college is staffed with experienced and talented faculty members where 80 percent of the faculty members are Ph.D. /M.Tech. degree holders. A college has a total of one hundred twenty faculty members; out of them, eighty have teaching experience of ten years on an average. 20% of the faculty members are having industrial experience more than fifteen years which offer the students the actual knowledge. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 :15, it provides students with lots of time for attention and guidance. This college also has 5 of such a faculty with over 20 years of experience and 10 faculty members who have received award for excellence in teaching and research.

KJ College of Engineering & Management Research has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members, with a student-faculty ratio of 15:1. In total, the college is staffed by 120 teachers; among them 80% of teachers have a Doctor of Philosophy or a Master of Technology degree received in prestigious universities. The teaching faculty has an average experience of 10 years and the industry experience ranges from 5-20 years. The college also invites guest lec turers from industries by guest lecturer in order to give the students a feel of the market and market knowledge. They also engage in research and publications; more than fifty research papers by the members appear in distinguished journals annually.

Like any other institution, KJ College of Engineering & Management Research has been privileged to produce many champions in their various fields. For instance, Mr. Prince Raj a computer engineering graduate got placed in UEF EDTECH Pvt. Ltd. with an offer of 22 LPA, Mr. Sahil Madvi, a computer engineering graduate has been placed in Virtue Infra Pvt. Ltd. with offer of 17 LPA. Furthermore, the graduates include Ms. Priya Ahirwar, who is a gold medalist of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering college. They are living proof of the colleges determination to churn out competent professional and skilled worker in all the disciplines.
