The College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) primarily admits students to its B.Tech programs through the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination, and not typically through JEE Main. Admission via JEE Main scores is not a standard pathway for CET, as the college follows state-level entrance criteria. If there are exceptions or changes in admission policies, such as accepting JEE Main scores for specific categories (e.g., NRI or management quotas), it's best to consult CET's official admission guidelines or contact their admissions office for precise and updated information.

However, some seats may be filled through direct admission under the institute-level quota, especially for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria but have not appeared for these exams. To explore this option, students must meet the academic eligibility of having at least 50% in their 10+2 exams (45% for reserved categories) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology as core subjects. The CET Main cutoff for Universal College of Engineering varies based on the category and branch. According to recent trends, the cutoff scores are competitive due to the institution's demand. For general category students, the cutoff ranges around 100-120 marks, while it can be slightly lower for reserved categories. However, this may fluctuate each year depending on factors like the number of applicants and available seats.
