Shri Mata Vaishno Devi College of Nursing has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.Sc.Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination individually in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Core/English Elective and must have obtained minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB subjects from Recognised Board Under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board or students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
Candidate must have a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh. Candidate who does not have domicile certificate at the time of filling up application form can upload an undertaking certificate. For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate.
Candidate must be physically fit.
Candidate must be at least 17 years old on 31st December-2022.
Candidate appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2021 can also apply.

(Post Basic)Upper age limit for the candidate presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt is 53 completed years (as on 31.12.2023) and no upper age limit for others (including ESI/Central govt.employee).
At the time of admission, the candidates presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt. will have to follow the then applicable TR Rules of the WB State Govt.
The candidates presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt. must have at least 3 years' qualifying uninterrupted/ regularized experience in Govt. service as on the last date of application. Work experience is not essential for others (including ESI and Central Govt. employees)M.Sc.Age limit :
WB State Govt employee: 53 years as on 31.12 2023.
Others: No upper age limit (including ESI and Central Govt. employees).
Work experience:
WB State Govt employee: Minimum 3 years' working experience after publication of result of the qualifying examinations (which is taken as the date of the final mark sheet) and by the last date of application.
For B.Sc. Nursing -1 year experience after publication of final result and by the last date of application.
For Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. (Hons)- Nursing - 1-year experience before or after publication of final result and by the last date of application.
For Post Basic B.Sc. - Nursing through distance education- 1 year experience after publication of final result and by the last date of application.B.Sc.Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Science stream from a recognised board.GNMRegistered ANM with pass mark.
