Admission Procedure for MOT at SRM: Eligibility criteria:The minimum eligiblity criteria is BOT degree with 50% aggregate marks (GPA : 6 and above ) . If you meet this criteria, visit the college head office . The second step is to fill the application form. You can call the management in prior for smoother admission process . While filling the application form, check twice to be free from errors .Documents required: SSLC and HSC Marksheet.Proof of BOT degree (Original certificate)Identity proof (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.)Passport-sized photographs.Any other documents specified by the college.Entrance exams: SRM usually conducts entrance exams for students to proceed with scholarship. Determine if an entrance exam for the SRM College of Occupational Therapy MOT programme is conducted. Bachelor of Occupational therapy is the best course at SRM College of Occupational Therapy.SRM college of occupational therapy 99% of students were placed in this course. Students get internship from  college after finishing the college.98 percentage of students got internship from B.O.Th course and in SRM hospital and research centre kattankulathur. Almost 50-60% of students got internships in this course. The minimum salary offered ranges between Rs 20,000 - Rs 40,000 per month.Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is better. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the exams as well as in clinical aspects. 

SRM College of Occupational TherapyThe Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) course is offered in various specializations in SRM where placement record is really good.The placement rate of students is nearly 99% and about 90% of the students are getting internships through the college campus which have more number of internships at SRM Hospital and Research Centre at Kattankulathur.Some of my friends are currently studying in SRM and they also completed one Internship programme in 2nd year itself with staff members guidance and it's really impressive.The MOT is offered as a major at the University with an option to specialize in Mental Health, Neurosciences, Paediatrics, Hand Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, and Sensory Integration Therapy which creates a variety of employment opportunities in the field of health.So in conclusion the SRM college of Occupational Therapy is really good at placements. 

SRM College of Occupational TherapyLocated at Kattankulathur, Tamil NaduAccreditation: Affiliated to NAAC and recognised by a multitude of professional councils and institutions. Facilities: It has clinics specialised such as Pediatric, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Community Rehabilitation and also affiliations with NIMHANS as well as Vijaya Hospital etc.Internships and Placements: Excellent internship placements in good hospitals/clinics to assure students practical experience. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA . The college claims 100% placement records for the past 6 years.SRM IST TrichySituated in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Accreditation : NAAC awarded ‘A+’ grade .Facilities: Contemporary laboratory, library and clinical simulation environments. Course Details: Comprehensive curriculum which focuses on the practical skills that are embedded in the programme and the field experience.Internship and Placements: The highest package so far is said to be 42.5 LPA . 600+ companies are recruiting the children via campus placement offers. Conclusion: The two campuses have fine courses with a decent complexity and good opportunities. Depending on your location and your preferences you can choose the best college for yourself. If possible, you talk to the current studying students and alumini members to get in depth opinion about the college.

SRM College of Occupational Therapy was started in the academic year 1996 under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. In 2004, the college was brought under the ambit of SRM University, and in the same year, a postgraduate program was started. SRM College is the only occupational therapy college to offer BOT, MOT, and PhD programs in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the colleges in South India that is recognized by the All India Occupational Therapists' Association (AIOTA), the National Governing body of the profession, and World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), the apex professional body worldwide, and accredited by NAAC with graded A+.  Many organizations recognize the college but it is not a ranked college.
