When compared to DSI,  MCOPS consistently has a superior national ranking. In the pharmacy industry, it also has a stronger and longer-standing reputation. Both MCOPS and DSI have knowledgeable and skilled faculty members, while MCOPS may have a larger pool of specialists, especially in specialised fields of pharmacy.

D etc. Admission to these courses is offered based on the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by physical/online counselling.The candidate must have passed 10+2 with equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission.

MCOPS is considered to be the better option. MCOPS consistently ranks highly, has a renowned faculty, and a solid academic reputation. greater variety of B.Pharm specialisations available in contrast to DSI. Though they still provide projects and collaborations, the DSI offers less research options than MCOPS. MCOPS campus featuring state-of-the-art amenities, a thriving student body, and a wide range of extracurricular activities.
