Quality of food prepared in the mess of Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, is supposed to be up to the standards of most students. The mess has a rich variety of both vegetarian and nonvegetarian meals. The proper diet and nutritional value of food in the mess are good for the students in every respect; however, the taste may vary according to personal choice. Its food is hygienically prepared and proper feedback is taken from the students to make it more qualitative. However, like most colleges, some of them feel that the food can be monotonic, but overall it serves basic needs.
