No, NLU Delhi accepts admission in UG and PG law degree courses only through AILET exam. CLAT scores are used for admissions to the 23 National Law Universities in India except NLU Delhi, as it is the only university that is not a part of Consortium of National Law Universities. Although before formation of Consortium of NLUs, the university (NLUD) actively participated in conduct of CLAT examination and counselling process, however, when the preference was given to other NLUs over it, then in 2012 it was decided that NLUD will not accept CLAT scores for admissions. Hence, AILET was conducted exclusively for admission to undergraduate

NRI applicants should keep the following points in mind before applying for the CLAT exam:
1. The sponsor has to be a first-degree relative of the applicants.
2: The sponsor has to reside abroad as a non-resident Indian.
3. If the student has no parents or near relatives, he or she needs to be a legal ward of the sponsor.
4: The sponsor needs to submit an affidavit stating his or her interest in the educational affairs of the student and a willingness to sponsor their education for the next 5 years.

First of all, if you get into a good college through CLAT there is no chance that you will not get a placement. Even if you do not, you have so many avenues, like the judiciary, the Indian Armed Forces, the Civil Service, law officers in banks and government companies, litigation, and many more. The law opens a lot of avenues. After completing the course, you would have a wide range of career options, like law firms, litigation, the civil service, and the judiciary. For law firms, the average package would be around INR 1216 LPA if you graduated from the top 5 national law universities. I hope this will help you.

Out of the 23 NLUs (National Law Universities) in India, 22 participate in Common Law Admission Test. NLU, Delhi is the only NLU that doesn't participate in it and accepts AILET scores. Many top private law colleges also accept CLAT scores for student intake. So, I guess it would be safe to say that the best law colleges in India admit students into their UG and PG programs based on Common Law Admission Test scores. If you want to get into the corporate law sector, the NLUs will be appropriate, as most of their students are recruited on campus by private companies. On the other hand, if you just want to be a lawyer, you can get into a

You should try hard for CLAT with regularity in study and have a few 2-3 more entrance exams. Few other good option could be ISAT, MH-CET, Symbosis SLAT KIIT, ISAT etc. Many good law colleges conduct their own entrance test for LL.B. After 12th like JGLU, Nirma University, KIIT school of law, Bharti Vidaypeth. Also you will find a decent and good law college in every region where it is okay to puruse law in other case when brand value and ROI is good. Best wishes.
