The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA process is used to place candidates at various engineering colleges throughout the state of Tamil Nadu. TNEA rank lists are used to offer admissions to candidates in undergraduate programs like Bachelors of Engineering (BE) and Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in colleges in Tamil Nadu. The TNEA written exam has been scrapped as the counselling is based on Class 12 marks, and therefore seats are allotted in the colleges through the TNEA rank list.
