To get admission at Rai University for the DPharma programme, candidates must complete a step-wise admission procedure. This procedure includes an online application process, selection process, fee payment, and final admission. Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the DPharma eligibility criteria, which require Class 12 science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics 50% aggregate from a recognised board. Yes, Rai University  provides lateral entry to the BTech course. Through lateral entry, candidates get direct admission in the second-year of the course. BTech (LE) is offered for a duration of three-years to aspirants who have completed Diploma recognised by central or state government with at least 50% aggregate or BSc Mathematics or its equivalent. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria must meet the merit requirement set by the university for admission. The university also BTech (LE) in two specialisations, namely Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology. Admission to BTech (LE) course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The University accepts entrance exam such as JEE for the selection round. After completing the selection rounds, candidates need to come for counselling and document verification round.

In order to apply for the MBA programme at Gujarat University, candidates need to fill in their application details online after which they will have to submit a payment amount of INR 500/- as registration fee. Initially the admission is based on CMAT score only where the 1st Merit list will be based upon these scores. Later on, if seats go vacant then candidates other than CMAT can be considered. After that, they have to go through the counseling process from the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) a board established by the Government of Gujarat every year to manage and conducts admission exam for professional technical education. Qualifying candidates have to sit in ACPC counseling for admissions.
