You can get direct admission to L.D. College of Engineering (LDCE) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat for the B.Tech programme without appearing for JEE Main. The admission process is as follows:Eligibility for B.Tech Admission at LDCE:A candidate must have passed the 10+2 (HSC) examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) in Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject from a single board.The candidate must have also appeared for the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) examination.Candidates whose parents are of Gujarat origin and have passed a qualifying examination from another state can also apply, as long as they have appeared for GUJCET.Students who have studied at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya or Sainik Schools in Gujarat up to the 8th standard and then continued their studies outside Gujarat are also eligible.
