All the courses offered at NIT institutions are great. But the flagship course to opt for at NIT is B.Tech in CSE followed by B.Tech in Electronics and Communication and Civil engineering. The highest package offered after completing this course is above 5.5 LPA, the highest being 8-8.5 LPA. The placements offered by the university are also great.

No, for B.Tech NIT Kurukshetra is better than NIT Mizoram. NIT Kurukshetra is rated 4.0 out of 5 whereas the later is rated 3.6 out of 5.Even NIT Kurukshetra offers 11 courses and NIT Mizoram offers 7 courses. The average placement package in the former is 16 LPA and the later has an average package of 8 LPA.

According to Shiksha.com, the JEE Main Round 6 opening and closing rank for Civil Engineering at NIT Mizoram was 58000 and 59000, respectively. The JEE Main cutoff for Computer Science Engineering in 2023 was 4524 for SC and 1507 for ST category. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Mizoram has been decreasing in recent years. The cutoffs for admission to NIT Mizoram are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, and the last cutoffs also change depending on All India quota or Home State.

Entrance exam scores do NIT Mizoram accept for admission to B.Tech is as followsYou have to take the JEE MAINS exam to get into NIT MIZORAM. You have to get a rank between 45761 and 91756 for General All India category students as of JEE MAINS 2023 results. The score varies every year depending on the difficulty of the questions

The fees for studying B.Tech in NIT MIZORAM is Rs. 95,750 per semester including the tuition fees. Category Benefits for students. Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Handicapped gets 100% tuition fee waiver. Economically backward students (whose family income is less than Rs.1 Lacs per annum) gets full remission of the Fee. Other economically backward students (whose family income is between Rs.1 Lacs to Rs.5 Lacs per annum) 2/3rd of the fee.

Yes, you can get admission in NIT Mizoram for B.Tech with 60% in class 12th, but you have to get a minimum 65% in physics, chemistry and maths and a total average of 75% in these 3 subjects or you have to be in the top 20 percentile of your boards exam. Moreover, you have to clear JEE MAINS with a good rank.
